A small firm, deliberately.
Hannem CPA Accounting was set up to do good accounting for the kind of clients a rural Saskatchewan firm actually serves — grain and cattle producers, incorporated professionals, family businesses passing between generations, and folks who simply want their personal taxes filed properly.
We're small on purpose. Small enough that when you call the office, you speak with someone who has your file open in front of them. Rigorous enough that when we file, we've reviewed every material figure.
Chartered Professional Accountants working under CPA Saskatchewan's Code of Professional Conduct, with continuing professional development through CPA Canada. Professional liability insurance carried in accordance with provincial requirements.
How we work.
-
01
Straight answers
Plain words, no jargon walls. If the answer is complicated, we explain the shape of the problem first.
-
02
Deadlines held
Returns filed when they're due. Books closed when they're supposed to close. No surprises in April.
-
03
Discretion
Your finances stay with your finances. We follow strict client-confidentiality standards without needing to be reminded.
-
04
Local footing
We understand Prairie economics — crop cycles, land transfers, family farm structures — because that's the ground we work on.
-
05
Long files
Most of our clients have been with us for years. We're built for the long relationship, not the one-off transaction.
